Very consistant and high quality subs. Never had a problem here and it is very quick and easy to order.

Just plain bad. The attempt at being different is certainly there. But it just isnt good. Im far from a cook, so if you give me a paper bag with options and have me create a sandwich...most likely it will turn out bad -- that is the case with most people. Just have someone make up recipes for 20 some sandwiches and sell them. Keep it simple.

I use to love this place. Now I am loving it less. Used the bath room and no soap. No one greeted me when I walked in. Long store with only two garbage cans. Really it needs three. I am going to leave my trash on the table when I leave. I am annoyed just sitting here thinking about the fact I had to pee then eat my sandwich without being able to use soap.

My new favorite sandwich chain! When you order, it's like taking a test, only instead of getting a grade, you get a sandwich. You fill out the bubbles on a sheet - just like a standardized test. A 7" will be about equivalent to a footlong at Subway depending on the amount of toppings that you get. I ordered a 10.5" and it was too much food - but delicious. So it may look expensive because a 10.5" is 9 bucks, but really a 7" is $6.50 which is roughly a premium sub at subway. You get lots of meat and lots of toppings and good bread. They don't charge extra for a lot of good toppings like coleslaw or hummus.

I am sooooo glad we decided to try this place. We've been seeing it for awhile since we're at Einstein's for bagels almost every weekend but I don't think we ever would've gone in there had it not been for my coworker's recommendation. I'm not a huge sandwich person. She explained the concept of writing on the bag so we were prepared for that going on. What shocked me were the multitude of options! I about dropped dead when I saw there was a Caprese sandwich! That's what I ordered, without hesitation. When I took the first bite, all I could think of was how reminiscent it was of my beloved Earl of Sandwich! I have stated in my review for that, I have to travel either to Disney World or through an airport that has one since there aren't any anywhere close to Chicago but I think this will fill the void! I think that's what excited me more than anything. I got it toasted with basalmic vinegar added...mmmmmmmmm. It was so amazingly delicious. We've been twice so far and we've both ordered the same thing both times. I will likely stick to my caprese obsession but I'm sure the husband will order various things. His sandwich of choice so far has been the shrimp po boy. I'm allergic to shellfish so I won't be anywhere near that one.

I like this place. Until I went in there today. I felt so unappreciated as a customer. Let me start with the cashier who I believe is the manager or owner. Dark hair, tall. He was having a conversation with a customer who just so happens to be a friend of his also? The guy was talking and talking and talking so much I had to ask is this the line you check out the manager or owner guy gave me the "one moment" finger and says one moment ma'am I'll be right with you. He continues this conversation and then decides he wants to take my order. Wow. I felt like walking out then. I probably should have. I wait for five minutes and they tell me we don't have any crab meat left. Okay do you want to order to change? Yes I'd like provolone cheese instead of American. When the girl at the end makes the sandwich another girl tells her I changed her American cheese to provolone, I can hear the sandwich girl a Say "fuck". SHE LEFT THE AMERICAN CHEESE ON MY SANDWICH. I will never come here again!

My life doesn't include much bread these days so sandwich shops are no longer my BFF. I was actually in the mood for a salad I didn't have to make for myself. I got the pesto chicken salad and topped it with all kinds of goodies. I have to say I really enjoyed my salad! How often do people say that about a stinkin' salad? I did notice they had lettuce wraps...after I paid for my my salad. So if you're not familiar with the deal, you grab a brown bag, pre-stamped with bowl and sandwich options, and choose your toppings. They have everything under the sun...seriously, they even have PB&J. You write your name on the bag and bring it to the cashier who hands it to the food maker who hangs it on a line with a clip. If you re feeling fun, you can decorate your bag and display it with all the other bag art work. So in a wrap, it's a funky and fun version of Subway.

Completely disappointed with in store experience! We used this exact location for a catered work lunch and everything was wonderful.. Catering is probably the only thing I would recommend from this place. First off - One would think that the novel idea of individual bags that the guest would check off on their own all the toppings etc would be an easy and fun thing - oh and ensure errors on the sandwich makers part right - uh.. more on that later. Not a SINGLE employee greeted anyone. Not when they came in.. not when they pushed passed you to wipe down a table.. not when a new person asked "How do you do this?" (they received a blank stare and a rude finger point.. no instructions at all). This continued even when I was at register ordering.. and after requesting 2 shakes and 2 whichs.. she asked.. "no drinks?" . I looked her in the eye and smiled.. "That's what the shakes are for." The cashier actually looked confused by my statement. NO.. REALLY confused. Payment - This is not a cheap eat. Even ordering the smallest ones they have - still over $30 for two people. Wait - and Wait.. and Wait . I knew it would be a bit because we did come during lunch after all.. There were about 9 people behind the counter and not a single person was smiling. Lots of squinting .. maybe those fancy bag order slips aren't that good of an idea in actual practice... they seemed to have to pull them down quite often to see what they needed to put on the sandwich. Which comes to the actual eating of them. The first was my crab salad lettuce wrap.- I'll post a picture.. They took the yellow and brown bits of the lettuce.. not a SINGLE green bit of lettuce here.. Slapped it on the paper wrapper.. and scooped in the most tasteless bunch of crab I have ever had.. Seriously.. NO SEASONING.. it was mushy. Not worth the $6.75 I paid for it .. The Second was suppose to be a cold thank you turkey ( stuffing and cranberries) - which they toasted. The meat was shoved in the back 1/4 of the bread while all the topping ( mushy again.. they are good at that consistency at least) took up the rest. Didn't even taste the turkey until the last 4 bites. The stuffing was actually wet.. like your little brother just made it in the microwave and added too much water.

I dont know why i have bad luck with take out places and i do the damn yelp thing all the time but still... anyway ordered online, didnt sign up for the account but paid and got the email confirmation order ready in 15 mins.. so i drive there and what do you know, the guy has no clue about my order. ask me to go to the cashier who says yeah the order shows up and closed..."You closed it"... i dont even have an account and no i wanted to eat so i did not cancel.. tell her that... she is like u closed it.. then she reopens in and puts it on the fancy... clothes line to make it.. when i look up i see my original order on the back.... on a second line which is supposed to be the fast track line... they f'ing missed it and blamed me.. so i tell her and she blames the other guy who says he didnt do it and she might have... well whatever i wait get my bowlwich and leave... no one smiles no one greets u ...no one cares if u come back or not... and sure as hell i am not...not great food anyway... subway is way better with the quality and also the customer service. NEVER AGAIN and if you want good service and good food... go to another place.

This was my first visit to a Which Wich so I had no idea what to expect, or do. We walked right up to the counter and was told that we need to go and fill out a bag with what we want. This is where it got tricky. When I am given endless options, I freeze up. It's too much info...too many choices. I appreciate the ability to custom order my sandwich but it would have been nice if there were a handful of sandwiches that were already "built" so you could see how they put together a tasty sandwich. I am confident in my ability to put together a sandwich...it isn't rocket science after all...but maybe a specific kind of mustard would have complimented my sandwich better than the one I selected? Anyways, I got a club off the classic menu and my bf got the Thank You Turkey that came with stuffing and cranberry (no additional toppings). I selected honey mustard, bell peppers, pickles, red onions, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, salt/pepper/oregano/oil/vinegar....it was super tasty but maybe another combo would have been even better (can you sense that I am slightly a perfectionist?). The wait for our sandwiches wasn't long as there wasn't a line of customers. I'm curious how this place is during the lunch rush. Soft drinks are self serve along with tea (although a few of the tea selections were out). No napkins on the tables, only a roll of paper towels where you pick up your sandwich. A few notes to the owner/manager: - We arrived right before 8pm on Saturday. Location stated that they close at 9. The "open" sign was shut off. Ok, maybe someone forgot to turn it on. We took maybe 20 minutes to eat, as we were leaving, one of the girls working there was stacking up the chairs on the counter that faces the window. There were still customers inside eating while this was happening. - Drove past at 8:50 on the dot and they were all closed up and dark. WTF? Your hours state that you are open until 9. I used to work retail back in the day and when you are young, you want to get out as soon as possible. But to start stacking chairs at 8:20-ish and to be completely closed at 8:50? Was there a manager on duty that allowed this? - Oh...and who "monitors" the artwork that is hanging by the front door? Are customers drawing/decorating bags and then hanging them up? You should really take a quick look at what some of the bags have on them. There were a few that could be highly offensive to customers with special needs. Sorry, but I don't find jokes poking at people with special needs funny in the least bit. Sure, a Which Wich employee probably didn't put something offensive like this up, but it is hanging in the store so Which Wich should take responsibility. I really enjoyed my sandwich and would love to visit again but I'm afraid Which Wich might not be around for too long when stuff like this is happening.

I just like the simple ordering process and basically all the options that you can add mostly at no cost, makes these sandwiches better than Potbelly or Subway. I also love the shakes and the fresh baked to order cookies.

I came here for the first time last week and I will be back. Had a Turkey sub. The best part about this place is that you fill out your order on a card BEFORE you even get to the counter. Pencils and paper are provided. You check off your meat, bread, cheeses, etc. You can also check off your condiments too, so there's no one asking you over and over again if you want "oils or vinegars" on it. Seriously - I hate it when I got to Subway and I order a sandwich without cheese right from the start---and it never fails...they ALWAYS ask me again: "Cheese on it?" Same thing with "Toasted?". I'm like, NO, I told you three times, no cheese no toast. That doesn't happen here. There was no 6" inch sandwich though, only 7". Not sure why. They cut it in half, but half a sandwich was plenty.

this review is being written by someone that thinks subway should be a religion. seriously. all hail the god of subway. that being said, i am always super skeptical of any sandwich shop that tries to steal my attention away from subway. this location opened less than a mile from my work (even closer than subway), so i checked out their menu. i saw they had lots of different options that piqued my interest, so we decided to check it out. i've never actually been inside (i always have someone else get it for me) so this review is only on the food itself. i've had the egg salad about 4 times and it is ahmaazing. simply delicious. i love how you can choose from so many different options: condiments, veggies, cheese, red pepper flakes (take THAT subway)--you can choose white, wheat, or even get it in a salad. the best part is--you can even get onion straws which are ridiculously delicious. who knew egg salad & onion straws taste good together but they dooooo! i think the easiest thing to do is decide what you want at home simply because there are soo many options, print it out then bring it in. that way you're not standing there looking confused.

Where to start? Yesterday I walked in on my lunch break the place was empty aside from one other customer but none of the staff could be bothered to offer a greeting. I approached the counter and rather than greeting me at that point, the snotty girl at the register stated that she could tell it was my first time there and insisted I go fill out a bag rather than just taking my order. Personally I find their way or ordering to be very stupid and confusing and disliked that you basically had to create your own sandwich. I opted for Buffalo Chicken and was informed that if I didn't play chef and tell them how to make it I would just receive chicken on bread. Seriously? Why have names for your sandwiches if there isn't an actual recipe for them? Once I figured out their conveluted ordering procedure, I returned to the counter where the rude cashier told me to "wait a minute" and procceded to stand there and ignore me while doing God knows what for a solid three minutes. While I was one of only two customers in the place, it still took almost 10 minutes to receive my sandwich and it wasn't very good. I'd rate it just slightly higher than Subway, but with much poorer service. In all, I spent almost $9 to be treated rudely, receive a sandwich that lacked flavor and was mostly bread, and wound up going over the time allotted for my lunch break due to their slow service and absolutely stupid way of ordering. I can't really think of any reason to go back and I wouldn't recommend this place as there's nothing really impressive about it.

would have rated this a four but I've been here again and I rate it a three because they replaced what was probably fake eggs with even faker eggs. They're like...egg patties. I love breakfast food. Because it's the most important meal of the day then why not have it EVERY DAY ALL THE TIME. That and "yolo" are my mottos. This was a disappointment. Also, getting extra stuff ends up screwing you over, read how much that stuff is really carefully. Because I am a fatty tattys I got a few extra things and the motha costed like 20 dollars and I didn't even realize it, I checked to see if there was gold in the "eggs" or bacon but there wasn't so I don't understand how it could add up to that much.

Was packed at lunch time. The very long and narrow layout of the place doesnt do itself any favors. Everyone is funneled to the back to wait for their sandwich, and jammed in next to the soda machine, which makes for very close quarters. The ordering system is strange, and they customer service doesn't do much to help you out if you are unsure what comes on a sandwich or not. The food itself...ehh. Lots of bread. Think its probably our last visit.

    (2)
  • Jason T.

I wish I could give this location 2.5, because if they fixed the customer service issues with the place, they could easily hit 4 "stars." I rarely ever have anyone warmly greet me and I continuously feel like a burden to the staff just by merely showing up and ordering a sandwich. The ordering system itself can be a little weird if it's your first visit and honestly, they could do a better job of having an individual in the dining area "directing" traffic for first-timers, but once you get passed it, they make a pretty decent sandwich. There are plenty of options to choose from, even if you are a vegetarian. They also make a nice warm cookie which (at this point) can be free by either filling out the customer surveys on the receipt or one of the folks on the line happens to be feeling generous. Are there better places to go for a sandwich? Yeah. But the quality of the ingredients could easily put this place above others if they improved on their customer service.

This is the first negative review I think i have ever given in my life. Not sure what to say. Was a bit confused by the ordering system. Which the staff had no interest in explaining to me. After looking it over It all made sense but I've never just been stared at while asking a question. I don't know sandwich wasn't bad per say but far from good. Overall iffy sandwich and terrible service for a very empty late lunch. May try again but will probably stick to Jersey Mikes.

I went here for lunch for the first time. I really liked that you can choose whatever you want on your sandwich and however you want it. You can toast or not toast (I like mine toasted) or even choose to get a bowl instead (I have been with people who are watching their carb intake so this is a great option for them) They had some really interesting options - you can add avocado or bacon to any sandwich, 11 different chesses (including blue, feta, cream cheese, and cheez whiz though I don't think I would choose any of these), 4 different mustards, 4 different mayos (including horseradish, spicy, and light), 10 different spreads & sauces (including buffalo, pesto, A1, teriyaki, hummus), 6 different dressings, 3 onion options (caramelized, red, and crispy strings), 13 different veggies (including coleslaw, jalapenos, hot pepper mix, suerkraut), and 7 different oils & spices. And most importantly, the sandwich was good. I got the Thank You Turkey with mayo and red onions and it was good. We did have to wait awhile (maybe 15 min) but it was a nice change from Jimmy John's and Jason's Deli.

I decided to try them out since I work down the street. They actually get 5 stars from me for offering more than hot peppers!! Jeez everybody doesn't want hot peppers on a sandwich (I'm talking to you Potbelly!) Nothing truly out of the ordinary but it's a decent sandiwch shop, also their house potato chips are pretty tasty! BTW, sign up for the which club or whatever it is and you will receive a email for a free sandiwch! I LOVE coupons and freebies!

15 minutes for a sandwich? Really? Yes. Really. That is how long it took the two workers making sandwiches to make ours yesterday and our wait time was not anything out of the ordinary. While we waited and ate, I watched over a dozen people have wait times that ranged from 10 to 20 minutes after placing their orders. Clearly, this is unacceptable. I suspect it is unique to this location. The workers seemed overwhelmed, undertrained, and irresponsible (two male workers handled one cash register and neither cleaned a single table or emptied the overly full trash can - and what place of this size has only ONE trash can?). My sandwich, the Elvis, was delicious, but not made as I ordered it. I indicated not toasted (the instruction is clearly marked on the order bag), yet it was toasted anyway. My wife's sandwich was not good. She had a chicken salad sandwich that has less than two ounces of chicken salad for a 7" sandwich (probably about 25% as much as you get at Subway). Her sandwich was crammed full of lettuce and there was no room for anything else. I probably won't return to this location. I might try a different one, but if I have the same experience, I'll be done with these. One more thing: they are a blatant rip-off of so many fast-food places you can play a fun game trying to identify them all while waiting. We noticed that the color scheme is an exact duplicate of Buffalo Wild Wings, the peace symbols reminded us of Jimmy John's, the sandwich toasting set-up is similar to Pot Belly (but much, much slower). See if you can spot more.

I found this place by total accident. My friend and were just driving through this strip mall to see what was new. I was super hungry having just done a 9 mile run. For some reason, the Elvis wich, really caught my eye.... Peanut butter, banana, honey, bacon. I mean really. Peanut butter is one of my favorite foods. I didn't quite know what to think about the bacon. I thought it might be overpowering but I have to give it to Which Wich. They put the bacon on in little cubes. This way, the flavor was evenly distributed and not too much. I had a whole wheat baguette. It was toasted. OMG. I want another right now thinking about it. The sandwich was like $7 or $8, but I thought it was well worth it. My friend had a turkey sandwich and said it was delicious. The cool thing about their other sandwiches here is that you take a bag and check boxes for what toppings you would like on your sandwich. The sandwich is then delivered in that clever little brown bag. I also purchased a brownie but it was eaten by husband! who found it in my car and claimed, "oh I thought you bought that for me". Really? Me, a brownie-holic? Needless to say, he said it was delicious. Just another reason for me to go back again. Gotta try that brownie.

This place is like Jimmy Johns and Subway but worse quality food. I got a vegetarian salad (I am glad they have options for a vegetarian or a vegan) but it was a mistake because it sucked. It was Shredded lettuce, with one tomato, one cucumber, a couple of olives, 1 shred of an onion and a tiny bit of avocado. All of that cost $8.00. What a rip off. My friends got a sandwich and agreed that the sandwich was tasty but lacking in meat for a sandwich. So if you want sandwich with a lot of bread, check out this place. If you want a salad, go somewhere else.

  • Zach T.

In the crowded field of "sandwich chains better than Subway", which wich has eclipsed Potbelly, Jimmy Johns, and even Jersey Mike's for me. This location does it just as well as the downtown location. Great sandwiches made to order. A tip: skip the kids menu and order them a regular sandwich or order yourself a larger one and share. The kids' sandwiches are sad and do not come with anything but a drink.

    (4)
  • Jennifer V.

Great sandwiches, horrible service. The service is so slow and poor that it overrides the tastiness and options of their menu. Every time I go there, it takes about 10 or 15 minutes to wait for your sandwich. And there is always at least one customer complaining about the wait time. My last visit, as I waited a good 10 minutes for my order, I watched one guy complain his order was wrong, one lady's sandwich was never made and another girl waiting way too long for two sandwiches. Overall its a great concept, good food, but their long wait times and poor service will end up ruining their business.

  • Rahshonda K.

Is this place open? From the outside we could not tell. But we decided lets check the door. Well it was open. We walked in no greeting by all four people waiting behind the counter. The way you order is a little confusing and they will not take your order if you just walk up to the counter knowing what you want you MUST write it down....UGH!!! Annoying when you have only 30 mins for lunch. I found the sandwiches lacked luster and I definitely do not think I will be back

After frequenting this place more than a handful of times, I feel one thing is missing, and that is service. The whole idea is kind of quirky, with writing our names down on the bags and all. I just wish the servers were a little more fun...more jimmy johns esque. My boyfriend and I put the names "Dolores Umbridge" & "Severus Snape", and they refused to call it out..its not like were telling them to call out vulgar names! Also once the same female worker that refused to call out the name pretty much threw the sandwich at me..woah there girl, calm down. Management should ensure that their workers are friendly, and at least a little bit outgoing, it would add an ounce of fun in this otherwise already sterile feeling environment.

we decided to try this place and it was terrible. Service was so bad. They had 3 people working there and only 10 customers in whole place. We waited 15 minutes for food. The place was so dirty. We had to clean off our own table because all of the others were dirty. The workers cared more about joking around and getting their own drinks., The sandwich was terrible. I had a reuben and the meat was not even real corned beef. It was some kind of pressed meat. It was disgusting. My wife had a chicken sandwich and that meat was not good and it was extremely small. Chips were very good. That is it. Never back to this place. This place will be gone inn 6 months.

  • Palak Q.

I didn't really find this place to be that great. I mean, it's just another sandwich shop, but they're tooooooo slow. There were more than 10 people making sandwiches and fewer people waiting for their sandwiches, but still they were taking forever to make 'em. It's a little over-priced, I thought. I just tried it out cause it was a block away from where I work. I might go there again, just cause it's conveniently located, and only if I won't have any other option to eat lunch at.

  • Jack C.

This place is awesome. I work down the street and have eaten there a couple of times. Once durring the busy lunch rush and once around 3 both times the staff was fast and got my order 100% right. I love food so when I say that there sandwichs are awesome wow there good!!!

Eh, nothing too special. Too much bread, too much lettuce and not enough meat. If it wasnt for being free for a catered in lunch, I'd probably give it 1 star.

Great sandwich place. I have been waiting years for the Chicagoland to get some locations. So many sandwich choices! I went for lunch on a Tuesday and not very crowded at all. Sandwich was well made and delicious.

I've eaten here a handful of times, but for the life of me I can't remember anything really outstanding about the food. Except that it was savory and filling. Both good, I guess. I like that you can order your sandwich in infinite variations, and that you can "compose" your sandwich by checking off boxes on the sandwich "bag", and handing that to the order taker. But besides the uniqueness of the ordering system, and a vague memory of the food being fine. I'm not bringing up a tasty memory, and that's not so good, in this day and age when standards are so high. So Which Wich gets solid A-OK!

    (3)
  • Amanda S.

You have to be extremely disciplined to order a sandwich from Which Wich. The bag alone sent my ADD into overdrive. I can't even tell you what I ordered, but I do love that there are so many free options for your sandwich. I'm so use to most things being an upcharge, but you can pile your buns high with cheese, oils, veggies, sauces, seasonings, more veggies, carmelized onions (WHAT?!), mayo, more veggies. Your options are limitless. I'm also a big fan of warm sandwiches, and you can make that your at Which Wich. Their chips are good, a little too vinegar-y for my taste but a nice change from the typical bag o'chips. It may take a little longer than Subway or Jimmy johns but your sandwich will be satisfying......just choose wisely.

I had high hopes, but cold meat on a hot sandwich never feels good in your mouth. I'll stick with firehouse subs for my "premium" warm subs from now on.

Great sandwich place. I had a veggie with artichoke sandwich and it was great. The house chips were pretty good to.

I've tried the Turkey Reuben and varieties of the Grinders and have really enjoyed everything so far. The sandwiches are way bigger than I expected (2 people can definitely share the large size), and all of the ingredients taste fresh. I would definitely choose Which Wich over Subway or Jimmy John's. The only downside for me is that the Oak Brook location is somewhat inconveniently located in a busy strip mall that doesn't have much parking, but they make one tasty sandwich.

  • Jess C.

This place has the potential to be something great but misses the mark. Not sure if they advertise being fast food but if you only have a certain amount of time off during your lunch hour, I would suggest going somewhere else or ordering online. 4 staff members were working and only one person was making the food. Some customers had to wait 30-35 minutes to get their one sandwich. Waste of my time!

    (2)
  • Scotty S.

Very good service and great sandwiches with an easy to order app. Only complaint is how long it takes for the sandwich to get made. The Italian grinder is fantastic.

  • Joe T.

Can be confusing at first but there is always someone to guide you through and show you the ordering procedure. It's a checklist of toppings. You order your way and if you want it your way then that's how you get it. So if you check a topping that doesn't work out to your liking then it's all on you. But it does work to your advantage of you get it right. Experiment with the toppings on your choice of protein. The place is well liked and can get busy for lunch crowd. But worth the time. Great place a and great staff.

  • Mario C.

Wow. Freaky slow should be their motto. Ordered two sandwiches. They were handled like they were from different orders. They were ready five minutes apart. Sandwichs were good, but wait is just intolerable. I was not the only patron expressing dismay. Took forever. Interesting concept where the customer fills out the order on the sandwich bag but it just doesn't work as applied. Keep the bags but have the order taker cashier fill them out. Much faster then the lingering crowd standing around. Pot belly, subway, Jimmy John's all use an assembly line because it's fast. Which wich doesn't and it shows.

    (2)
  • Jennifer G.

Sandwich are good not great. Good concept that you mark everything you want on the outside of the bag and they make it to order. I do like all options that you can put on your sandwich without having to pay extra but still little pricey for what you get. The major problem is the service. Waited 25 minutes for a hot sandwich! That is insane! Only three sandwich makers during the lunch rush hour? Why is it Potbelly can still get you in and out in 10 minutes with a hot sandwich and Which Wich can't? Don't think I will be returning.

I really like this place but the prices are high, the owner is a grump and it takes them forever to make a sandwich. I would rather go to a sit down restaurant for the price and time it takes. Not fast food.

Good food. A little confusing on how it works at first but one of the guys behind the counter examined it well. Seems simple but take a little more work than you would expect. All in all pretty good sandwich though. Price was a little high too.

Yums!!!! Just started working out here in Oakbrook and heard good things, so stopped in for lunch... I like the fact that I can put down on paper what I want and give it to them to make. The bread was tasty and the sandwich made it all worth while!!! I had a turkey bacon sammich, to my absolute liking! No complaints on the speed of making it or the quality. I will absolutely pop in again!

My co-worker and I went to Which Wich for lunch today around 12:30pm to try it for the first time. It was neat how you write on a brown bag and how it spells out everything on their so you know what to mark off as far as ingredients and what you want on the sandwich. The line was quite long and it took a long time to get our food because of the large crowd. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich on wheat bread and it was very delicious and not to bad of a price, just over $6 for a small (7 in.) I thought it wasn't going to be enough but when it arrived it was more than enough for me! After lunch I also decided since it was my first time there to order the ice cream cookie sandwich. It was delicious, ice cream cookie sandwiches could possibly be my favorite thing in the world. The cookie was a little hard but other than that it was perfection! My co-worker that i was with purchased a cookie as well and they actually put the cookie through the toaster (same as the warm sandwiches) and it came out melty and he loved it as well. I would recommend this place, but I would recommend going closer to 1pm, it seemed the rush was over by then and it was way less crowded.

The bread on the sandwich is very good. Better than Subway or Jimmy Johns...but more expensive. I like the way you select what you want on the paper bag; but, there are no prices. We had 2 different sandwiches and 2 shakes and we thoroughly enjoyed all of it. They could do a better jib of distributing the spinach on the sandwich...but, I would definitely return.

First time writing a review! I went there for lunch today and I loved it. It is such a cool concept. You first grab a bag then mark it how ever you like. When I got there I noticed a lot of bags hanging where they make the sandwiches. I thought to myself this is going to take a while. After placing my order. The kid behind the first station was going so fast and I was shocked. He was making sandwiches one right after the other. Just by himself. Within 5 minutes I received my sandwich. Which is not bad for the lunch hour. I had ordered the buffalo chicken hot with provolone cheese. It was so good and fresh. My only complaint would be I wish they wouldn't only use deli meat. Other wise a great little sandwich shop!

Rating: 2.1 Short description: somewhat expansive sub chain Similar to: subway, blimpies Pluses: order on paper so don't have to wait too much for people Negatives: slow to deliver with no people in line, expensive for the size, just like every other deli style but $2 more Recommendation: just had the Italian based one but most likely will not go back Edit: Ended up having to use the bathroom a bunch afterwards, didn't eat anything else.

It was good. Nothing to celebrate about, but very good, and a place that I will go back to. The concept is simple - it is a sandwich store where you "design" your own sandwich. In that sense it is like a Subway, but with far more options and seemingly better-quality ingredients. You avoid the pressure of making decisions in line or even having to interact with your "Sandwich Artist," (your call on whether that is good or bad - the staff seemed pleasant enough) because you write up your order beforehand on these handy little bags that your sandwiches will later be served in. The restaurant is roomy and clean. The food is slightly more expensive than at Subway, but the value seems to be there given the variety and quality of choices. The biggest negative that I would call out is the parking lot, which is awkward to get in or out of from 22nd Street, and which is tough to maneuver in anything except a compact car. Assuming I can squeeze into the lot again, I will be going back to Which Wich to try something else soon. My fully-loaded hummus-based sandwich left me happy today.

Definitely overwhelming at first when you first walk in and have no idea what is going on. But you figure it out pretty quick. I settled on the "wicked" which is the basic cold cuts and pepperoni and bacon, with american cheese and mustard. After eating the large with double meat... I kind of feel sick. It tasted great at first, but after awhile it just tasted like a salt bomb. And I like salt - I double salt my fries from McDonalds. Maybe I should try a more pedestrian sandwich next time? At least the soda fountain serves shaved ice. AWWWWW YEAHHHHH.

Normally I would give 4 stars, but my last 2 visits have been not the best. This is not the first time my order was incorrect or your employees had these awful I do not want to be here moods. Why bother saying hello, they're not going to say it back. On my bag, I specified that I wanted the buffalo sauce on the side. It was put on the sandwich, when I told the girl I wanted the buffalo sauce on the side, she told me no I did not, I wanted the olive salad on the side. I told her I did not want olive salad on my sandwich, and to please put the buffalo sauce on the side. (really, she is going to ARGUE with me over something that is written down. This is not the first time one of your employees has told me what I ordered or told someone else what they say they ordered.) After a sigh, and the rolling of the eyes, she remakes the sandwich. Guess what, after SPECFICALLY REQUESTING NO OLIVE SALAD, guess what she put on my sandwich? Olive salad! You were not busy when I was there, so I really do not see how she "misunderstood me" .

Think of a better quality Subway where you don't really interact with the sandwich "artist," but instead use a paper bag with options on it. Walk in, choose a style of sandwich, mark off how you want it prepared, then off it goes. It's more expensive than most sandwich shops at about $8 for a 7" regular sized combo meal. I enjoyed the muffaletta sandwich and their house chips are salt 'n peppa flavored. There is a sign saying "Help Wanted" so the current employees either know they're on the way out or at least getting help- other reviewers are right: no 'Welcome to Which Wich, need any help, my name is ____!" I only knew what to do by watching the guy ahead of me put in an order. There are a TON of options for types of sammies and how it's created so that's a plus. Besides that everything was nice and clean and I will be back.

Yes you heard right, which wich is back in business! My boyfriend and I got a little too excited when we saw that they we're open again and definitely went in for some lunch. They're under new management and what it looks like, some new staff. Everyone was super friendly and they made our sandwiches just how we liked it. We left very satisfied and eager to return!

I drove past this place on my way to REI and decided to give it a try on the way home. It was pretty good; I'm gonna have to give this another try. I had a breakfast egg sandwich, which was egg and a handful of vegetables. The bread was nice and soft, and I liked the spice of the sandwich. They also have wonderfully spiced kettle chips that are very crunchy and very flavorful. This review will need to be updated after I have another sandwich with more toppings, perhaps with meat or one of the Italian varieties.

Probably deserves three stars. I like the system the have for ordering sandwiches. Very foolproof. And yet somehow these sandwiches turn out quite unremarkable.
